I broke my nose playing tennis and was recommended to go to Dr. Aminpour by the hospital. I got an appointment right away and everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable. I never liked my nose before so we talked about doing cosmetic surgery as well as fixing the break. The whole process was very easy. I was really nervous but he and his wonderful staff were great. I have always believed in expressing appreciation to those who have rendered service to me and my family, especially to those who have gone beyond the "call of duty". We have another entry in the Morse Family Gratitude Hall of Fame to add: Dr. Shervin Aminpour and his staff! Nearly a few weeks ago, our 16-year old son finally had septoplasty/rhinoplasty surgery, after waiting for years to have it performed. When he was about 11 and much more autistic, he was battered by an out-of-control bully in two separate occasions, fracturing our son's nose. Given his age, we were told by his doctor that he had to wait until age 16 to ultimately repair the damage done. This young man endured chronic nosebleeds that had to be cauterized, drainage problems and breathing difficulties for years, until he met Dr. Aminpour. We had trepidations about surgery and the reconstruction process going into the consultation, but departed with great optimism and relief. The doctor was kind, patient and reassured us that he could restore what was lost and help in the recovery process, not only for my son's nose, but perhaps for his emotional recovery (and his Mom's!). And Dr. Aminpour's staff.....everyone was so kind, patient and helpful to us....during every call (I made numerous ones) and with every question (I had a lot of those as well). The surgery quest was an intensely emotional experience on different levels, and it was so incredible that we were treated with respect and dignity as we sought to complete the healing process of our son's past traumatic event.

After the surgery, we discovered that our son didn't need "packing" in his nose and hadn't bled that much. The surgical facility where the procedures were performed was equally as wonderful, so my son and I departed for home feeling relief and happiness that we had made the right choice of doctors. Now, after nearly two weeks, our son has healed so well, and his bruising is nearly gone. He can breathe now and feels great! His nose is back to the same structure it was before, even with the decreasing swelling, and we now stare at a more handsome young man who has endured and accomplished so much in his challenged life.

I was involved in a very bad accident last summer and sustained major trauma to my neck. When I first went to Dr. Aminpour's office I was afraid I would have these terrible scars the rest of my life. Dr. Aminpour's staff was so sweet, reassuring and supportive each time I was at the office. From the first time I met him, Dr. Aminpour made me feel that this was temporary and very fixable-I would be me again. He was absolutely correct! Most people who meet me would never know I had such a terrible accident. I am very happy with the results. Dr. Aminpour is not only extremely talented, but he has a way of being sweet and professional at the same time. I am finished with my treatment, but will miss this incredible doctor and staff-definitely recommend!

After many years of suffering from migraines and sinus headaches as well as what I thought was bad allergies I finally decided to see a specialist and find out if I would always have to live with this type of pain and if so maybe the doctor could tell me the best way to manage it. The best thing I have done in a long time is to see Dr. Aminpour. After only five minutes in his office he was able to tell me that I had a deviated septum and soft tissue growth blocking my sinus cavities. Two weeks later I had surgery and now 6 days later I can breath, for the first time since I can remember, and I can smell and taste like I have never before. Besides being extremely talented as a doctor what really made the difference for me was Dr. Aminpour’s personality and how at ease he was able to make me feel. I would highly recommend a visit to him.

Dr. Aminpour performed a surgery on my son, 15, to repair his deviated septum. I was very nervous because no parent wants to put their child under. He was very good at explaining everything, and despite my concerns we went through with it. I am glad Dr. Aminpour knew our son's needs better than my husband and I - because my son can now breathe with his mouth closed. We didn't realize he had the problem, and neither did our son because it was all he knew. I really am thankful Dr. Aminpour for his kindness and expertise. He is a great doctor!

I’ve had multiple cosmetic procedures done, and went to more than a dozen consults with plastic surgeons from Beverly Hills to Calabasas. Given my experience in this industry, I can say Dr. Shervin Aminpour is one of the top facial comedic surgeons in the business. At the West Hills Surgical Center, the nurses there will tell you how fine a surgeon they consider his work. It is true, he takes his time, and there is minimal bleeding and very minimal bruising; regardless of ethnicity.
Dr. Aminpour performed an upper eye tuck and a neck lift to repair an unraveled previous neck lift, at the same time he nicely cleaned up a disfiguring surgical scar on my neck. Other surgeons said there was little that could be done to improve my existing neck and jaw line, however Dr. Aminpour proved them wrong.
He has the hands of an artistic sculptor, and has the confidence of a prizefighter without the arrogance that you will find with so many other top surgeons in Los Angeles. His prices are fair. He has traveled extensively to help indigent cases in Latin America and Africa.
Dr. Aminpour did everything he promised. Post surgery, the results of my neck and eye lift are amazing. I didn’t expect the ultra dramatic results I got from my operation; but it was everything and more I could have hoped for. Once I adapted to my new look, it literally transformed me.
It has been 6 months since my surgery and I am now fully recovered. Dr. Aminpour made my eyes look twice as big as they were before surgery. I forgot that putting on eye make-up is such a fun thing to do. I am no longer self conscious about my scar and sagging neck; now I confidently wear chokers, necklaces, u-necks etc.
I highly recommend Dr. Aminpour; he truly is a genius and a master at his craft.
Perhaps the only people that have surpassed my good judgment of Dr. Aminpour are his kind staff. Iris, does a great job keeping morale of the office techs high. Audiologist Celeste Hernandez is also exemplary at her profession.

Dr. Aminpour performed surgeries on two of my children and we were extremely happy with Dr. Aminpour's wonderful bed side manner and surgical abilities as well. Around four weeks ago, I was first seen at a local Urgent Care center here in the San Fernando Valley for what was the sudden and great discomfort in my left ear. Needless to say, what I thought was something that was going to be easily fixable with a couple of days worth of antibiotics, ended up turning into a month long ordeal of increasing pain and absolute terror on my part.
Finally, on my fourth visit to the Urgent Care center they offered me the name of an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, Dr. Shervin Aminpour. And, from that one gesture on their part came the beginning of my blessing. I called Dr. Aminpour's office that same day. My quivering voice was greeted on the phone by the most kind and gentle woman. For the first time in a month I felt as if there was going to be a light at the end of this tunnel and if the light had bells attached to it....I'd be able to hear them loud and clear with both of my ears! This extraordinary woman got me in to see the Doctor that same day.
The atmosphere in Dr. Aminpour's office is so light and comforting. The immediate sense of security that I felt in knowing that these were good people that really cared for their patients was overwhelming.
When I went in to see Doctor, his warmth and gentle character was clear to me. He listened patiently to my concerns. He was reassuring in that he would do all that he could to make me well. And, he sealed it all with a smile that made me feel as if I had him as my physician for years. I was no longer scared. Instead, I was eager to follow his direction and be the best patient that I could be in order to get well.
One simple prescription later, (thanks to Dr. Aminpour), what two other Doctors could not fix in a month...was fixed in six days; the length of time it took to finish the one prescription he had given me to take out from the pharmacy. Today, was my first follow-up visit and my left ear no longer feels like it is submerged under forty feet of water. My equilibrium is completely restored and so is my big smile!
Thanks to my Dr. Shervin Aminpour, I am free to laugh again and it feels great!

"When I needed to fix my fractured nose, my HMO referred me to Dr. Aminpour. At the first visit, I read a brief bio that outlined his qualifications and highlighted his experience with facial reconstruction/plastic surgery. I was intrigued. I decided to ask him about improving the function of my nose(deviated septum obstructed nose breathing) and possibly fine-tuning the appearance of my nose- in addition to repairing the original fracture. I had always been skeptical of plastic surgery, for fear of a permanent, potentially unfavorable result. However, after my consult with Dr. Aminpour, my hesitance was gone. He is knowledgeable, confident, and really made me feel like he had my best interests at heart. I couldn’t be happier with my results! My breathing has improved, and my nose looks completely natural. Dr. Aminpour made me feel extremely comfortable with the surgery I was undergoing. Not only is he a nose/throat doctor but he is also a plastic surgeon. I had my deviated septum corrected as well as the lump on my nose taken off.What made me feel most comfortable with him was he was all about making my nose look as natural as possible. When I saw my new nose after the cast was taken off, I cried. I couldn't have pictured it better myself. Not one person could even tell that I had had a nose job. I have never been happier. He is very professional and also has a sense of humor which put me at ease considering I was going under for surgery and making a permanent change to my face. A couple of years ago I had my tonsils removed from the West Hills hospital and they did a wonderful job. Everyone that took care of me was really friendly and professional. Later on I found out that I had a deviated septum and that if I had surgery I could breathe a lot better. My nose was also a little crooked which kind of bothered me. My mother mentioned to me that the doctor who removed my tonsils also did rhinoplasty surgery. So we went in one day and instead of seeing my previous doctor we met Dr. Aminpour. After leaving his office that day I was really confident that I had gone to the right person. My surgery went very well and the recovery was nothing. I had very minor bruisingon my face which lasted only a couple of days and the swelling and congestion lasted only a week. The whole procedure couldn't have gone any better and I am very happy with my nose. I highly recommend Dr. Aminpour to anyone who wants to have some work done on their nose.

If I read a "gushing" recommendation, I tend to view it with suspicion. I rarely take the time to write any reviews, except adverse ones. My philosophy is "no news is good news." You are about to read a "gushing" review about Dr. Shervin Aminpour. I have rarely needed medical attention. I am lucky enough to have lived in good health and expect to do so for many more years. As I passed 50, that small tumor on my neck continued to grow. My simple Lipoma, "Voldemort" as my wife called it, was just too large now. My HMO physician referred me to Dr. Seltzer, whom I found to be a seasoned, experienced ear, nose and throat specialist. He examined me and scheduled the surgery. Some weeks later, I received a curious phone call stating that Dr. Seltzer would be retiring and Dr. Aminpour, a new physician, would now be performing the surgery. Frankly, I had my doubts. We all want the best, most experienced, medical care provider. At the pre-surgery examination with Dr. Aminpour, I had the opportunity to read his Bio and discovered his extensive real world experience. In addition to ear, nose and throat, I discovered he was an experienced, major trauma, facial reconstructive cosmetic surgeon! Geez, and all I needed was Lipoma removal. Post-surgery, I could not be more pleased. Not only are there no scars, I learned that during the Lipoma surgery, significantly more difficult than first expected, he had to carefully remove adipose tissue near critical motor nerve centers in my neck. So, it was much more than a simple Lipoma removal. Frankly, I was lucky enough to have an experienced surgeon taking care of me. I hope that if you are in need of any medical services anywhere around your head, schedule a visit with Dr. Aminpour. You too can then enjoy the same luck I had! These days good doctors are hard to find. Treasure the exceptional ones like Dr. Aminpour.

After surgery, i was shocked on how well dr. Aminpour performed the operation. I had barley any bruising and I felt great right after surgery. After visiting the Dr. 5 days after operation and removing the cast, I was very impressed on how well my nose looked.

I went to his office and to begin with, his staff was so very nice and helpful. Made the process much easier. When I met Dr. Aminpour, he explained everything he was going to do and why. After trying different treatments, the last option was a septoplasty. I was ready for anything. He was so caring, answered all my questions, and put me totally at ease. I had septoplasty surgery a week ago and I can already tell that it was a success! I can finally breathe through my nose fully for the first time in my life. I have suffered from a deviated septum and chronic allergies for a long time and I finally decided to go seek help, luckily I picked the best doctor! Dr Aminpour saved my life. I developed severe allergies and wasn't able to function anymore. For over 2 years I was down with sinus infections and not able to leave my house or bed for 3 months. Nobody was able to help me 4 ENT's 5 doctors and 2 allergy specialists was able to give me any relieve. Dr Aminpour sinus balloon surgery fixed me in 30 minutes and I'm enjoying life ever since.

Wow is this really how my life was supposed to be. Why the hell didn't I do this 30 years ago. Yes the last week after my operation has been uncomfortable like having a cold but WOW once the doctor took the stents out of my nose the whole world opened up. Like a new lease on life. And the sleep apnea has gone away. No machine to sleep with. Yahoo!!!
